This model of set was used by serious television enthusiasts to view Jenkins’ broadcasts on W3XK in Washington DC and a few other stations that showed “Radio-Movies”, as he called television broadcasts. Jenkins preferred the term “Radiovision” to “Television”, which explains this unit’s name.
