This was Philo Taylor Farnsworth's personal television set. He wasn't thrilled with what they'd done to his invention and he and his children didn't watch much TV. Then, in 1969, as billions of people the world over watched Neil Armstrong make his first, historic steps on the moon, Farnsworth's wife, Pem, asked him how it made him feel and he said, "This makes it all worthwhile. Before, I wasn't too sure."
